This Police station was opened on 01.03.2006 by bifurcating Malayinkeeah police station vide GO. (MS) NO. 36/06 Home dated 25.02. 2006. The jurisdiction included the portion of Maranalloor and Malayinkeezh Panchayath. 20 wards of Maranalloor and 4 wards of Malayinkeezhu are included in the jurisdiction.The jurisdictional area of Maranalloor police station comprising Maranalloor Grama Panchayath and Maranalloor Revenue Village.
